Purists will disagree but we're defining a burrito as anything you can wrap up in a tortilla. This makes the burrito incredibly versatile, however up to you how healthy you make it. Be sure to look for whole grain, high-fiber tortillas and pack them with lots of nutritious veggies. Also a convenient way to consume leftovers.
Core Ingredients: There's a plethora of ways you can take a burrito. We'll highlight two different options — Mexican & Mediterranean.
- Mediterranean Style
- Hot Sauce
- Mexican Style
- Salsa or Hot Sauce
- Sweet potato
- Mock meat beef crumbles
- Hot sauce
- Non-dairy cheese
- Non-dairy sour cream
- Cook veggies - Chop up the veggies you're using and add to a hot frying pan with oil.
- Heat tortilla in oven for 5 minutes (optional)
- Assemble - Lay the tortilla out on a square of aluminum foil. Add all the ingredients and roll it up.
