WHY THIS MADE THE CUT


Grilled, pan-fried or even microwaved, veggie burgers are an easy familiar go-to meal. Until you’re ready to explore making them from scratch there’s plenty of delicious pre-made options to sample. Beyond Burger is one of our favorites.

 

INGREDIENTS


Core Ingredients:

  • Burger patty (do yourself a favor and track down some Beyond Burgers)
  • Bun

Optional Ingredients:

  • Non-dairy cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Just Mayo (vegan mayo)
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Carmelized onions
  • Sauteed mushrooms
  • BBQ sauce
  • Avocado
 

DIRECTIONS


  1. Cook - Grill or pan fry the burger. We generally prefer to pan fry. Some burgers are too fragile to grill plus pan frying is more convenient and seems to seal in more flavor.
  2. Toast the bun
  3. Assemble the burger with your favorite toppings. We like Daiya, Follow Your Heart or Chao cheese slices, avocado and Just Mayo.
