ABOUT


honeygrow is about thinking different when it comes to their approach, their style and their people. Founded by Justin Rosenberg in Philadelphia in 2012, honeygrow brings people together over the highest quality, wholesome, simple foods. As a newly converted proponent of a plant-based diet and tired of the mediocrity in both food and experiences presented by many of the older and emerging fast dining options, Justin decided to leave the cubicle world, train in a fine-dining kitchen, and pursue a life that spoke to his passion: creating awesome things through the lens of nourishing foods.

 

TIPS


Here's some high-level suggestions on how to enhance your plant-based experience at honeygrow:

  • Their stir fry bowls are amazing! As for the base, keep the egg noodles off your plate and go with brown rice, whole wheat or rice noodles, or Boston lettuce cups.

  • Whether tofu is your thing or not, try it here. The best in the game.

  • Their vegan sauces are ridic. You have sweet soy five spice, sesame garlic, or red coconut curry to choose from.

  • We suggest creating your own stir fry from scratch. They are super easy to customize.

  • Honey is not technically considered vegan, but a lot of plant-based people still consume it. We will leave this one in your court.

Stir Fry:

  • Red Coconut Curry - rice noodles, roasted spicy tofu (non-GMO), pineapples, jalapeños, bean sprouts, scallions, cilantro

  • Sesame Garlic - freshly made whole wheat noodles, sub tofu for beef, mushrooms, broccoli, scallions, sesame seeds

  • Sweet Soy Five Spice - brown rice, sub tofu for spiced turkey, green beans, red onions, sesame seeds

Salads:

  • Vegan dressings - red wine dijon vinaigrette, walnut lemon dressing, sriracha tahini dressing, olive oil + balsamic vinegar, and lemon squeeze

  • Walnut St Noodle - walnut lemon dressing, freshly made whole wheat noodles, organic arugula, mushrooms, raw cauliflower, roasted walnuts, parmesan crisps

Cold Pressed Juices:

  • green is good: apple, spinach, cucumber, lemon, basil

  • better off red: watermelon, beet, lemon, raspberry

  • orange you thirsty: orange, carrot, lemon, ginger
