Avocados are packed with rich, delicious healthy fats that really fill you up. Avocado on toast is a canvas for your imagination. Our quick go-to is pumpkin and hemp seeds, but practically everything tastes great on avocado toast.

 

INGREDIENTS


Core Ingredients:

  • Avocado
  • Bread

Optional Ingredients:

  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Pesto
  • Seeds (pomegranate, pepitas, hemp, chia seeds)
  • Coconut flakes
  • Peppers
  • Nutritional yeast
  • Hot sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Vegan mayo (for the smashers, Just Mayo is our favorite) 
     
 

DIRECTIONS


Barely more work than pouring a bowl of cereal. Seriously.

  1. Toast bread - If possible find a proper sourdough from a local bakery. Good sourdough is a transcendent experience.
  2. Add avocado - Some people like it smashed, others (ourselves included) prefer a little chunky. There’s no wrong way. 
  3. Add toppings.
