Dubbed the “Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2010,” actress Olivia Wilde has been on the plant game since the age of 12. The actress made her mark with hit show House and films Tron: Legacy, and Her, while making her directorial and writing debut with the film Free Hugs.

Wilde is a longtime animal activist and philanthropist, only recently making the switch from vegetarian to vegan just four years ago. She is a firm believer in the adage “your dollar is your vote.” Wilde reasons this is why she continues to adopt a plant-based diet as it helps her stay mindful about where her dollar vote goes. Wilde blogs about her conscious lifestyle and going Vegan on her website WildeThings.

Being vegan is not always easy and accessible, but it’s a way of life and makes me as a person feel really good and physically look better.
