A four-time Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton is regarded by fellow and former drivers as one of the greatest Formula One drivers in the history of the sport. This outspoken outlier has taken the racing world by storm for the better part of the last decade. What Tiger was to golf, Lewis is to Formula One. With his net worth approaching a quarter of a billion dollars, you could say he’s also one of the most marketable athletes on the planet.

When it comes to Hamilton’s plant-based story, his transition didn’t happen overnight. It’s been a few years in the making. A couple years ago he stopped eating red meat. And then in 2017 gave up chicken and went 100% plant-based. Needless to say, the man credits his 2017 championship season to going vegan. We feel ya, homie.

I feel the best I have ever felt, physically and mentally. All year I have felt strong mentally, but physically I have taken a big step and that is with the decision I have taken to change my diet.
