NBA PLAYERS EXPLAIN WHY THEY ARE GOING PLANT-BASED
Planted court side, the new lifestyle change that is taking over the NBA is plant-based.
NBA players are amongst the latest to make the switch to a plant-based, or vegan, lifestyle. Players have attributed veganism to increased energy levels, faster recovery, and weight lose. Players like JaVale MvGee, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, to name a few, are amongst the fast growing numbers claiming to feel more energized since making the change.
With the goal to maximize their potential, players have discovered advantages both on and off the court. Outspoken vegan, Wilson Chandler stated that eating a vegan diet has changed his everyday living. “I sleep better, I wake up in a better mood, I recover faster, I’m not so inflamed, not so achey. I feel better overall, in everything that I do. I can take in more information easier. My mind is just open,” he said.
As the stats continue to bounce in it looks like more players are making the change towards a Vegan diet. Don’t be surprised if the top shelf of the produce section starts to look skimp.
